The ŠKODA OCTAVIA iV has landed in New Zealand. The latest addition ushers in a new era for ŠKODA’s bestseller with plug-in hybrid electric technology.

Charging your OCTAVIA iV is easy as pie. The battery can be charged at home, via a regular outlet or a powerful wallbox for faster charging. On a wallbox, a flat battery can be recharged completely in 3 hours and 33 minutes, while an ordinary outlet will take five hours. For ease of charging on the go, use a fast-charging cable to charge in 3 hours and 30 minutes, and then pop your cable back into the dedicated storage compartment in the boot.

The Columbus infotainment system is a 10″ system that is touch, gesture, or voice controlled. The standard radio is accompanied by navigation and connects to your smartphone, offering online ŠKODA Connect services. Volume and map zoom controls can be altered by the touch-slider, making sure your eyes stay on the road and not fumbling with clunky buttons.

Even better, the OCTAVIA iV comes with Remote Access, a new way to control your vehicle by interconnecting to your smartphone. Use Remote Air-Conditioning for remote pre-trip air-conditioning or Remote Charging for remote charging control and displaying the current charge status – super handy!
