It’s important to keep in mind that advertised range figures are intended as a guide only. These are derived from WLTP testing in specific conditions. In real-world driving conditions, your electric range will differ due to a range of factors that may have positive or negative impacts.

Servicing

A lot of the servicing that we’re used to with petrol or diesel vehicles isn’t necessary with electric cars. And with their fewer moving parts, they also generally have lower maintenance costs than conventional combustion-engined cars.

Any Škoda electric vehicle requires a service every 12 months or 15,000 km. Regular servicing is important for several reasons, including:

  • Battery cell health & proper cooling
  • Car software diagnostics & software updates
  • Regular component checks (i.e. brakes, steering, suspension)

On-road costs for new vehicles are $1,495 which includes 12 months’ registration, 3 years WOF, 5 years factory warranty, 5 years Roadside Assistance, genuine floor mats, professional groom, and pre-delivery inspection.

5 year/150,000 kilometre (whichever comes first) warranty available on all new Škoda cars.
