Miles Škoda win a very special award at the 2022/23 Škoda Dealer of the Year Awards
We’ve just returned from the 2022/23 Škoda Dealer of the Year awards, where typically an annual event this year’s awards marked the first to be held since 2020. Held at the Wild and Co. event space in Morningside, Auckland and hosted by the 2000’s television and radio icons, Jono and Ben, Miles Škoda joined Škoda New Zealand along with Škoda dealers from across the country, to celebrate their achievements from the past year.
Along with the usual array of department awards and, of course, Dealer of the Year a new award was introduced this year. The New Zealand Police Fleet Service with Distinction Award was designed to honour the exceptional relationship management between individual dealers and the New Zealand Police force on both a national and local level. It recognised the seamless coordination and efficient roll-out of the new Škoda police fleet.
We are both proud and honoured to announce that Miles Škoda was crowned the well-deserved recipient of this distinguished award, an absolute highlight of the evening.
New Zealand Police Fleet Manager, Brian Yanko attested to Miles Škoda’s unwavering dedication, consistently surpassing expectations in ensuring a flawless roll-out and ongoing servicing of the Canterbury Police fleet.
Brian Yanko acknowledged the unprecedented relationship they have fostered with the local Police, standing as the sole metropolitan area in the nation to secure the unwavering support of the esteemed Metro Commander. This undeniably speaks volumes of the relationship management and exceptional customer service demonstrated by Miles Škoda’s Police Coordinator, Robbie Payn, and the entire Miles Škoda team involved in the roll-out.
Congratulations to the phenomenal team at Miles Škoda and thank you to ŠKODA New Zealand and the New Zealand Police for recognising our efforts and for naming Miles Škoda the inaugural winner of the New Zealand Police Fleet Service with Distinction Award.
