This week, our team took to the track at Ruapuna Motorsport Park, welcoming 15 of our valued customers to our first Miles Škoda Track Showcase.

In a tailored track session with fellow enthusiasts, guests discovered what the latest Škoda models have to offer, experiencing firsthand the advanced safety systems, responsive agility, and confident performance synonymous with modern Škoda engineering.

Ruapuna provided the ideal environment to unlock and harness the capability of Škoda’s newest range. With professional guidance from Driver Safety, a purpose-built track, and a lineup of new Škoda models, guests experienced handling precision, responsive acceleration, and advanced safety systems.

From the instant torque of the all-new Škoda Elroq to the refined performance of the Škoda Kodiaq RS, the day on track proved that safety and performance are at the forefront of Škoda’s latest range.

Whether long-time Škoda enthusiasts or guests curious about the newest innovations, attendees enjoyed a day dedicated to refining driving skills and experiencing the power, technology, and versatility that define Škoda.

The Range

Miles Škoda brought a selection of Škoda’s newest models to the track, giving participants the opportunity to experience the brand’s latest innovations firsthand. Guests had the chance to get behind the wheel of both electric and petrol vehicles from Škoda’s current range, including:

All-new Elroq – Škoda’s new compact electric SUV with fresh Modern Solid design
New-generation Enyaq – New-gen electric SUV with up to 545 km of range
New Kodiaq RS – A performance-inspired seven-seater SUV
New Octavia RS – Škoda’s athletic and dynamic wagon
New Superb Sportline – A spacious and sporty station wagon

Behind the Wheel

Led by the professional team at Driver Safety, the day showcased Škoda’s capabilities through a series of tailored driving activities designed to highlight performance, handling, and advanced safety features.

Through these expert-led sessions, guests refined their driving skills while gaining a deeper understanding of Škoda’s intelligent technologies.

The day unfolded with several driving exercises that put Škoda’s engineering to the test:

Acceleration – Feeling the instant torque of electric models alongside the smooth power delivery of petrol engines
ABS braking – Testing the Anti-Lock Braking Systems (ABS), allowing drivers to maintain steering control during hard braking
Regenerative braking – Understanding how Škoda’s electric vehicles intelligently recover energy while slowing down
Handling – Experiencing Škoda’s responsive steering and stability through dynamic manoeuvres

After a quick break for hot coffee and morning tea, participants returned to the track for the highlight of the day – driving laps around the Ruapuna circuit.

Each attendee took turns behind the wheel of different models, gaining hands-on experience with Škoda’s range and discovering which vehicle suited their driving style and lifestyle needs.
